Artificial intelligence is often described as a double-edged sword. On the one hand, it has the potential to revolutionise medicine, transport, and communication. On the other hand, it raises serious ethical concerns. For example, facial recognition technology can improve security, but it also creates a grey area around personal privacy. In addition, algorithms may reflect the same biases as the people who design them. Some experts argue that without careful regulation, AI could open a can of worms, making society more unequal. Personally, I believe technology itself is neutral, but how we use it reveals our values and priorities.
